Today was crazy; I got about 4 hours of sleep in order to drive out to UIUC.  I've unpacked everything and poked around the campus for a bit.  My roommate still hasn't shown up yet :(

Off to college

I leave for the University of Illinois on August 19.  It's weird seeing my friends leave and thinking of how long it will be before I come back home.  I hope I am able to remain as active when I'm off at my dorm!

Well congrats! I hope for the best for you at your college. I'm goint to Western Nevada Community College in Carson City after I graduate this year. It's so exciting!! I hope you can still have time to hang with us on here. We'll miss you if you don't. lol Well just make sure to have a great time there. :)

Thanks, I'm sure I'll find some sort of balance between time on the site and time out on campus. The updates might not come as frequently, but I will definitely be around in the community!

Hey, it's been a while

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted to my blog in so long.  I've been spending way too much time enjoying my last summer!  These days, if I'm not out at some graduation party or hanging out with my friends, I'm working on the site code instead of writing about it here.  Here is a list of all the things that happened to me recently.

My birthday was on June 3.

I graduated from high school on June 6.

I saw the Star Trek and Terminator movies, but have not had time to review them.

My Halo 3 disc broke a while back.  I bought a limited edition Halo 3 copy back in 2007 and the game that came in the box had small cracks around that inner ring.  The cracks have slowly but surely widened over the years and now the game is unplayable.  I don't know what I'm going to do :(

Today I got 3 shots to prepare for college (ouch!).  On the bright side, I won't get chicken pox for at least ten more years :D

I might get a review for Halo Wars if I feel like walking downstairs and firing up the 360 to finish the game.  I have to admit it is not very appealing to me right now....

I just finished my last day of high school ever!  It's very strange to think that I won't ever go back to those classrooms or teachers, and it's even weirder to think that this fall I will be living on my own in a college dorm.  The official graduation ceremony is on the 7th of June (basically right after my birthday!) and I can't wait!
