Sherlock Holmes captivates audiences with it's quirky quick lines and star studded cast.  Filled with fast paced action and unpredictable plot twists, it's bound to keep you at the edge of your seat.  I can't help but notice that Jude Law and Robert Downey, Jr. are super cute!!  So cute, in fact, I could hardly keep up with their well delivered super funny fast paced script.  Jude Law is cute because he has a nice accent.  If the movie were based off of his cuteness alone, he would totally get a 10.  He is charming, seems like he would be a nice boy to bring home to your parents, and I bet he smells like an expensive cologne.  Possibly Armani - Giorgio.  Unfortunately, Robert Downey, Jr. isn't nearly as cute.  That's part of why I gave this movie an 8.  But, don't let that stop you from watching Jude Law.  Rachael McAdams does an excellent job as a very attractive maid.  I'd give her a good solid 9.  Overall this movie has more dudes than girls in it, so if you're into girls you should probably see something else.

Maybe if I read the books, I would like this movie ten times more. Heck, I might worship it. But enough on that subject, I like the movie because on it's own it wasn't half that bad, but it wasn't perfect. But in all respect, I think everyone will love watching this film and have a blast at it too.

The cast was really good. I didn't mind Rachel McAdams as much as everyone else did, but she could've done way much better in her performance, but her performance in the movie wasn't totally bad. Robert Downey Jr. IS SHERLOCK HOLMES. Ah, I love the wit and the sense of humor he has in this movie. And his intelligence were convincing and very interesting. His detective skills were a blast to see too. And how everything unsolves at the end made me very speechless. And Jude Law as Dr. Watson was a very clever casting choice, and he was very clever with it too. I definitely like how Sherlock and Watson bicker and mess around with each other. If that doesn't show how good of friends they were, or even allies, then I don't know what will. It was done so very well in my opinion. And Mark Strong as villain Lord Blackwood was very menacing and creepy as well. Oh, he was very intelligent and his motives were very clear as well. Wonderful cast and crew, and I love it!

I like the whole supernatural feel to it, even though I was surprised it was going into that. I always thought of Sherlock Holmes being about solving crimes and mysteries, but it turns out that some things aren't what they seem. And the music wasn't out of place or anything. The music sounded really good, for the time this movie's theme is set in. The undone tower bridge battle scene was very cool looking and a very nice set to put for this movie.

The direction for this movie was well done as well. Guy Ritchie did a nice job putting these characters in the movie and bringing them to life with the visiuals and performances from the actors.

Although this movie could've been really great, but like I said there were some problems I had with this. Some of it is the dialogue they were speaking in...I couldn't understand them that well is what I'm trying to get at. And yeah, Rachel McAdams, eh, was ok...

Anyways that is all I had to say about this movie. I can't wait for the sequel!!

I never imagined Sherlock Holmes with action and comedy, well after i saw the movie it was partly like the books of Sherlock Holmes and i read them all and i love them. I think the movie was good and a good holiday movie and the only movie i have left to watch is Alvin and the Chipmunks 2. All the kids are watching it, i heard.
