This movie could've been a lot better...but at the same time I have to ask, "Why?" There shouldn't be movies of Alvin and the Chipmunks, and there shouldn't be sequels go along after it either. I didn't like the first one that much (it was ok, that's about it), and this movie wasn't much of an improvement. *sighs* Hollywood is running out of ideas.
Well what I do like is the guy from the TV show "Chuck" (Zachary Levi) is in this movie. He was really funny and could've made a way much better Dave than Jason Lee. And I hate how Dave (Jason Lee) wasn't in this movie that much, only from one scene at the beginning, one scene in the middle, and one scene at the end. That's it! Jeez, no respect for the character whatsoever. And right now I lost my respect for this movie, and maybe for the Chipmunks altogether...nah, what am I saying? I love the Chipmunks, just not this one or the first movie.
The Chipettes were cool to see for the first time on the big screen. It's nice that this movie is more based with the old animated TV series now. Well since it's obvious they're making a third one, let's hope for the best, and hopefully forget about the last two.
