Not as amazing as the second Mission Impossible but t was worth watching at the theater and at home. Tom Cruise did good again. Hint Hint, they are making a fourth one. Not my favorite one in the series but a well done movie.

Clearly, the best of the series has arrived. These Mission: Impossible movies just keep getting better, and M:I-3 shows it! More explosions, more chases, and an overall great experience should pull in all action fans, whether or not they've seen the previous movies. I have to say, this plot line has been done before, but I'll let it slide this time. Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is still the same old, smooth spy we parted with six years ago (I'm not sure how long that is in theatrical time). Now, when we return to him, he is about to be married with his new love, Julia (Michelle Monaghan). However, when he gets called back to his duties, he begins to question his support in the IMF (Impossible Mission Force). As his friend, Luther Strickell (Ving Rhames), puts it, in the IMF, you can't have 'real relationships.' Although Luther's words ring true, this particular operation is very important to Ethan. A fellow operative, and Ethan's finest ex-student, Lindsey Ferris (Keri Russell) is abducted while trailing a suspicious man named Owen Davian (Philip Seymour Hoffman). First sent to rescue and free her, Ethan witnesses the cruel Davian in action as his 'little sister' is killed by a brain implant. Impulsively, Ethan launches a counterstrike in and his team captures Davian. The infuriated Davian threatens Ethan's wife after learning Ethan's name (Luther blurts it out accidentally). After being freed from the IMF by a strike force, a helicopter, and a jet, the ruthless criminal proves true to his word and kidnaps Julia. Now, Ethan's only chance of rescuing her is to steal a mysterious toxic object known only as the 'rabbit's paw' and bringing it to Davian; a mission deemed impossible (as always). Also, once again, someone in the agency has been cooperating with outside forces; could it be someone at the top, like the strict John Brassel (Laurence Fishburne)? What about the seemingly-nice John Musgrave (Billy Crudup)? What's more, Will Ethan be able to save his fiance? Or will he end up a loner once again? You should definitely go out and see this movie right away; it's the best of the three so far and worth your time and money. I enjoyed the performance by Simon Pegg, playing the office worker Benji Dunn. If you can't stand tons of explosions and constant action, you should probably wait until this is out of theaters so you can buy/rent it. Kids should not see this because of violence and language. Otherwise, this movie is great!
