The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift is by far one of my favorite movies of all time.

The movie has an amazing plot to it, the actors in the movie are great, the special effects are awesome, pretty much every single thing about this movie is awesome.

There are apparently varied opinions about the movie, it seems like this movie is more favored by teens then it is adults.

Me? I am 16, and i can safely say this is one of the greatest movies of all time.

So if your a teen who likes fast cars, street racing, and action all packed into one DVD, this movie is definitely for you.

Wow, this was pretty dumb. Targeted at younger crowds (teenagers and young adults), this movie focuses more on the 'cool factor' than the 'good plot'. The screeching of wheels and blasting of rap/rock was enough to give me a headache for another hour or so. Ouch (I actually like rock, too). I have not, to this date, seen the other two movies in this series, so I can't compare. In this film, Sean Boswel (Lucas Black), a 'badass cowboy' from the states has been giving his mom (Lynda Boyd) a lot of trouble. His bad habit of getting into trouble racing has forced him to move around the country to avoid prison. At this point, however, his mother decides she's through with putting up with him, and dumps him on her lousy ex-husband in Japan (Brian Goodman). Living in Tokyo, Sean is dazed and confused among this new, foreign culture and language, until a nice, fellow exchange student named Twinkie (Bow Wow) shows him the ropes. Thanks to this street-smart con artist, Sean is reunited with his passion, underground racing. However, the rules are much different in Tokyo, as Sean soon finds out. In this fast-paced city, the art form of racing is an insane maneuvering style called drift racing. The cocky, gaizin [outsider] Sean decides to challenge the Drift King (Brian Tee) by talking to DK's girlfriend, and in doing so makes an alliance with DK's partner/rival, Han (Sung Kang). Once Sean wrecks Han's car in the race he was destined to lose, Han decides to teach Sean the style of drift racing, and a little bit more. If that doesn't sound inspiring, I guess you think like me. There were really stupid ideas that made this seem like some strange video game (the girlfriend decides to go out with whoever wins the race, and other instances). I enjoyed Sung Kang's performance, but didn't appreciate Nathalie Kelley's performance as the girlfriend who originally likes DK and experiences a change of heart (ugh). Cheesy and generic, this movie wasted my time, and gave me a migraine! Don't bother seeing it unless you want the same experience (if you have to see it, rent it).

I remember when my friend and I went to see the film in theaters, the first thing we said to each other when it was over was, "Wow, that was loud..." This is just one of many generic racing movies to me.

Haha, yeah, i am only 16, so i am pretty much the "Younger Audience" you spoke of, so that is most likely why i liked the movie so much lol.
