Well, this movie could be described mostly as fast-paced action and fast-paced chases, interrupted by fast-paced dialogue and fast-paced sex. Throw in some fast-paced plot twists, and you have your product: fast-paced confusion. In all, the movie was very interesting, but not well put together. It ended abrubtly, and I wasn't sure what to think. Later, I read a spoiler, which still didn't answer some of my questions. The acting was fine, and the villains were well-developed. So, when it gets down to it, the movie was just too short and poorly put together. It brings in a new James Bond, now played by Daniel Craig, as he just receives 'double-oh' status for killing two people. Accused of being reckless, trigger-happy, and cold-hearted, he is given a new mission along with the beautiful and proud Vesper Lynd (Eva Green). His newest task: to take out a supporter of international terrorism. The target, Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen), a rich psychopath that invests his money (along with the money of other assorted bad guys) in terrorism, has recently tried to blow up a plane! Instead of an assassination, Bond goes for Le Chiffre's wallet. To do this, he's going to need some serious poker-playing skills! Vesper, representing the British treasury, will be in charge of the money situation, and make sure that Le Chiffre's millions become the government's millions. Things aren't this easy, expect betrayals and backstabbing! There was a little too much of it for me, because I still don't know what happened! I guess the best part about this movie was the action, which is the main reason why many people would like this more than me. All in all, the latest 007 is worth a rent, but not much more than that.
