The film was pretty good. I loved the special effects and action, but I thought it was kind of weird that the worst things possible would always happen to Tom Cruise. Speaking of Tom Cruise, this entire film revolves around his character's life, so if you're the kind of person who can't stand him (Margrock, that means you), then you probably won't like this film as much as I did. This movie begins with Ray Ferrier (Tom Cruise) when his children, Robbie (Justing Chatwin) and Rachel (Dakota Fanning), come over to spend some time with him. Normally, they live with his ex-wife, Mary Ann (Miranda Otto). Suddenly, without warning, a group of vicious aliens attack all the major cities on Earth and force Ray and co. to run for their lives! Why do the aliens always seem to attack Ray? Actually, there is no explanation (seriously!)... This movie is frightening, and not for children.
