As SilkyBob said, Tusserte wrote most of the plot. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was an excellent movie! It had everything an exciting fantasy/adventure movie should have! There were great special effects, especially when Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) is faced with the challenge of battling a huge fire-breathing, Horn-Tailed Dragon! There was amazing acting by the children playing students of Hogwart, and that made it very serious at times, as well as very humorous at others! One things that I would have liked to see was more similarity to the tremendous book by J.K. Rowling that this was based on. Many interesting details were excluded, like a whole side plot about the devious newspaper columnist Rita Skeeter (Miranda Richardson) being an 'animagus' (someone who can transform into an animal at will). She was supposed to take the form of a fly and spy on Harry and his friends for the evil Lucious Malfoy (Jason Isaacs). Aside from that minor flaw, this movie is definitely worth every cent!

I thought this movie was pretty good, though not as exciting as the other one's tend to be. It was more accurate to the Harry Potter books than the third one, but there were still changes to help everything flow together better, since some things had to be left out. This movie is about the fourteen-year-old Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) as he goes through his fourth year at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But this won't be an ordinary school year at all. This is the year that the rare and famous Triwizard Tournament will take place. The Triwizard Tournament is between three wizarding schools that each submit one witch or wizard to compete. Only seventeen-year-olds are allowed to compete because the tournament can be so dangerous. Once the magical Goblet of Fire chooses the best contestant from each school: Viktor Krum (Stanislav Ianevski) from Durmstrang, Fleur Delacour (Clémence Poésy) from Beauxbaton, and Cedric Diggory from Hogwarts, it also shoots out another name: Harry Potter. This is very confusing for three reasons: one, because only three wizards are allowed to compete at once (hence the name the Triwizard Tournament); two, Harry isn't old enough to compete (and the cup stops young people from entering their names); and three, Harry never even entered his name! Strange and dangerous plots are definitely brewing; whoever entered Harry's name obviously wants something bad to happen to him in the tournament. Not everyone in this tournament will come out alive! There is also a little love story that I believe will be developed in later stories between Harry and Cho Chang (Katie Leung) of Ravenclaw House. I thought that Brendan Gleeson did a magnificient job playing the mysterious (and partially insane) 'Mad Eye' Moody. This is a great movie, but as the MPAA rating suggests, it might be a little scary for kids.

Well, seeing as Tusserte has already written about the plot of the movie, most of you have already read the book, and I'm too lazy to do it myself, I'm just going to write about my thoughts and why you should go see this film. Anyways, this is another step up in the Harry Potter series. It has great action from the start, when the Deatheaters attack the Quidditch World Cup, to the dragons and Voldemort (oops, You-Know-Who) in the Triwizard tournament. Also, the special effects are good when needed. Also, the three main characters become more developed, as there is some conflict between Ron and Harry, and Ron gets jealous of Hermione as well. My one complaint (and why I did not give it a 10) is that the movie did not go in-depth about Harry's school year at Hogwarts. It solely revolves around the Triwizard tournament and the Goblet of Fire. Overall, I recommend seeing it, especially to Harry Potter fans and those of you who have read the books.
