What a great year for thrillers involving commercial planes (it's kind of odd that Red Eye came out around the same time)! This movie is just as amazing as Red Eye! It definitely deserved all the praise it got! Jodie Foster does a great job playing the anxious, suspicious Berlin citizen, Kyle Pratt. Kyle's husband had just recently fallen off of a tall building, an action that was believed to be suicide. A depressed Kyle and her frightened daughter, Julia (Marlene Lawston), are flying the coffin to the United States for to see Kyle's parents. During the plane ride, the plot thickens as Kyle's daughter disappears and no one seems to even remember her. There are many, many plot twists that make this film great. This movie isn't for kids, though, because it's very suspenseful and a little bit violent. The swearing in this movie isn't that bad, though. If you liked Red Eye (PG13, 2005), you'll like this movie too.
