I am a big Batman fan, and when it comes to the movies, I want to be pleased by the plot and characters in the movie. This one got it right. I really like this movie, much as I like the sequel to it. This was wonderfully made, and the cool thing is one of my favorite screenwriters co-wrote the the script, who is David S. Goyer (The "Blade" Trilogy). I've never seen a Chris Nolan movie before this one, and now he's on my top list of My Favorite Directors. This is what should've been the very first Batman movie. Dark, serious, and suspense. I absolutely love the villains in this. Not as much as The Joker, but I just like the way they were portrayed in the story. Scarecrow is my favorite in this, although it is very disappointing that he wasn't shown as much. But Ra's Al Ghul, he was brilliant and a worthy adversary for the great night crusader. He was a much bigger threat then...wait for it...wait for it...MR. FREEZE. See how I made it dramatic there? Much like how Mr. Freeze was very 'dramatic' in his scenes of "Batman & Robin"....NOT!

Christain Bale was perfect as Batman, it was like he was made for the role. He just did it well. Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine were great in their roles as Lucius Fox and Alfred Pennyworth.

Overall, I like this movie, and also "The Dark Knight" and I hope to see more of Nolan's work of Batman.

I had great time seeing this movie! It has a dark and intriguing plot which includes suspenseful fight sequences and an interesting assortment of characters, both good and bad, loyal and deceitful. Plus, the special effects will blow you away! I also enjoyed seeing the character development; the actors did a great job getting into their roles, and they did an awesome at setting up a sequel by bringing in a clue to the Joker at the end. Definitely worth seeing and adding to the movie collection!

Now this was a great Batman movie. The action was intense, the special effects were phenomenal, and the actors were brilliant. The film went into great detail about how Bruce Wayne became batman, and why he chose to be a bat, of all animals. The movie was also suspenseful, especially when the League of Shadows released the panic gas into Gotham. This film is definitely worth seeing, and one of the best this entire year.

I didn't like the plot or villains in this movie. I thought the 'Scarecrow' villain (Cillian Murphy), aka Dr. Jonathan Crane, was pretty lame and had a mask that was plain stupid. I also found a few details that didn't line up. For example, the evil Ducard (Liam Neeson) released the panic-inducing gas on the entire city of Gotham. What didn't make sense was that the kid who Rachel Dawes (Katie Holmes) was helping was also affected by the gas, but wasn't scared of her or Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) in his Batman costume. This movie had a few suspenseful moments, and I saw the little kids next to me in the theater put their heads in the seats and whimper for most of the movie. There are great special effects in the movie, which definitely make it interesting.

Don't listen to Tusserte. When it comes to reviewing movies, it's like he walked into the wrong theater when he went to the movie. Anyways, this movie is great, and it does an excellent job of explaining Bruce Wayne's past. Watch this movie; it's worth your money.
