I am not a big Punisher fan, so I am not going to go all "I hate this movie because it didn't stick true to the comics!" No, I like this movie. It could've been better, but who to judge? I wish there was a sequel to this, though only a reboot titled "Punisher: War Zone" that came out this month and I wish I can see it, but it's not in theaters anymore.
First off, Thomas Jane was good. Not the greatest, but good. He fit the role really good, just not perfectly. Second, the plot...it was a little weird. Especially the villains were weird, but like they were in the comics. But respectfully, I give them credit for doing their best. Now I want to see how good War Zone is, and how this Ray Stevenson portrays one of our favorite anti-hero.
