This movie is watching just for the first half of it. It is about a catastrophic chain of weather events caused by global warming that plunges the Earth into another ice-age. There are hail storms in Tokyo, blizzards in New Delhi, twisters in Los Angeles, and a massive tidal wave in New York city. The only downside to the movie was a lack of character development. Other than that, I'd say rent or even buy this movie on DVD or video.

As they say in French, comme ci, comme ça [ok]. Or that's what I think they say... Anyway, this movie was good, but Margrock is right: the wolves were lame, and they acting was pretty bad by some people. What really made me mad was when they made it look like the main character almost drowned when he only had to swim five feet. Don't buy this movie unless you really love it, or you'll just be wasting hard earned cash.

Well, it's got a mediocre plot, but I thought that the acting could have been way better. Dennis Quaid, Jake Gyllennhaal, and Emmy Rossum could have done a much better job with putting emotion into their characters. They also had a habit of stating the obvious way too many times. This movie had pretty cool special effects though, but, a few fake looking ones. For example, in one scene, the main characters get attacked by wolves, but the wolves looked really fake. I agree that this is a movie you could rent, but I'm not sure if I'd want to buy it.
