I thought this movie was pretty good. The acting was good (not great), the special effects were amazing (especially the robots and the fight at the end of the movie between the robots and the humans). I don't know how the book compares to the movie because I never read it. The movie's jokes are actually pretty good, and Will Smith does a great job mixing them into the dialogue (as always). That being said, this movie would seem really cool to little kids, but might not be appropriate for kids because of the few scary moments (a few things jump out at you).

This was my favorite film of 2004. I loved the plot, which twisted and turned in ways no one would be able to guess. Will Smith did a good job acting (as Tusserte said, because he incorporates jokes into the dialogue), and the special effects scenes with the robots were great. There is also a lot of action, and my favorite action scene was when the robots were fighting the civilians in Chicago.

I think this was my favorite movie of '04. Near the end of the movie, when all the pieces of the puzzles were coming together, I was like, 'wait a minute, I know who did it!' My friends don't believe that I figured it out, but whatever. See this movie on DVD or VCR if you can, it's definetly worth your time.
