Rather disappointing in my opinion. I mean, it was okay and it had its comedic moments like whole scene where Ryan (Chris Evans) steals the lawyer's car (the lawyer is played by Rick Hoffman). Otherwise, I thought the whole movie was just sort of the average action film. Cellular's main plot is about a young, carefree guy who gets a random call on his cell phone from some woman (Kim Basinger) who claims to be the victim of a strange kidnapping. As Ryan gets more deeply involved it comes to the point where he'll do anything to keep this woman on the phone and to keep her alive. I just don't think this a movie that particularly sticks out and is worth buying. Plus, I have to agree with Tusserte that they could have done a way better job on the dialogue. I have to conclude that this film is probably a rental.

I found this movie entertaining the first time, but that was about it. There was a fairly interesting plot and decent acting. A few lines by the actors were fairly cheesy, something like, 'Holy ****! Did you see that?! That kid just got kidnapped!' There were cool chase scenes and a few funny moments. This movie is definitely not for kids because a few people get shot/killed (blood included) and Chad (Eric Christian Olsen) makes quite a few sex references. Oh yeah, don't forget all the swearing.
