Rather disappointing in my opinion. I mean, it was okay and it had its comedic moments like whole scene where Ryan (Chris Evans) steals the lawyer's car (the lawyer is played by Rick Hoffman). Otherwise, I thought the whole movie was just sort of the average action film. Cellular's main plot is about a young, carefree guy who gets a random call on his cell phone from some woman (Kim Basinger) who claims to be the victim of a strange kidnapping. As Ryan gets more deeply involved it comes to the point where he'll do anything to keep this woman on the phone and to keep her alive. I just don't think this a movie that particularly sticks out and is worth buying. Plus, I have to agree with Tusserte that they could have done a way better job on the dialogue. I have to conclude that this film is probably a rental.
