As many of you know, Blade (Wesley Snipes) is a vampire hunter. He's half vampire, half human, with abilities like non other. Until...the original vampire comes along: Dracula (AKA Drake).

I like this movie. A lot of good action, and really good plot as well. This time writer David S. Goyer, who worked on the Blade movies from the start, is in the director position. He did a nice job on the script and the movie itself. And the concept of the way Dracula looked was astonishing, and very horrific, and much more modern. This wasn't that Brom Stoker Dracula, this was way beyond a Dracula we had never seen until now. The only problem was the actor who played him (Dominic Percell). He was alright, but he wasn't Dracula. He does have the built and the look, just not the acting experience. And the way he was portrayed reminded me of Deacon Frost, played by Stephen Dorff, from the first Blade movie.

And Blade, my favorite character in this whole movie, and the whole franchise, was less shown on the screen. To me, this movie was more about Hannibal King (Ryan Reynolds) and Abigail Whistler (Jessica Biel), the daughter of Blade's mentor Abraham Whistler (Kris Kristofferson). Their team, "The Nightstalkers", was a nice approach, but it took to much out of the story and pushed Blade way behind, and whereas if he didn't even matter to the plot.

I do have to admit, Blade and Dracula's battle at the end was really awesome. It could've been longer, but it didn't disappoint me.

The confusing part in the whole movie, is when Blade, in the extended unrated version, is in the emergency room and he attacks everyone in the room. At the end, he comes up to a African woman, on the ground lying helplessly, and Blades goes towards her and it turns black. So what does this mean? Blade becomes evil, or something? Well we probably will never know, since the TV show "Blade The Series" doesn't help much, even though it's a continuation to "Trinity".

In overall, if you ignore the flaws, it's a really good movie. It might not be the greatest, or the best, but you got to like the movie for what it has. Even if it's the last one in the series.
