I don't know what to say. It was good, not the best, definitely not the worst. It could've been a lot better with the plot. Matt Murdock (Ben Affleck) when he was a teenager gotten blind by radiactive chemicals, that made him have a hyper-sensitive hearing. Before the incident, the last thing he saw was his dad mugging a random civilan in a allay. His father promised that he will do better for him, and he will be better for him. Matt forgives him. But when crimelord Wilson Fisk (Michael Clarke Duncan), a.k.a. The Kingpin of Crime, murders his dad for not losing at the boxing match, because he wanted to win for his son. Matt swore ever since the day of his father's death, that he will use his abilities to against blind justice and for all that is right. By day he is Attorney-At-Law Matthew Murdock, and by night he is the Daredevil.

Pretty interesting take on one of the legends of Marvel. Created back in 1964 by comic book legends Stan Lee, Brian Everett, and Steve Ditko. Mr. Lee created this hero to explore new things in the superhero realm, and why not have a superhero that is handicap? Of course, why not make him blind? The coolest thing you can ever do to the hero, and of course conflicts can occur while being a blind superhero too. Which also happens in the movie, when Bullseye (Colin Farrell) finds out Daredevil's weakness; super loud noises (i.e. cars, drills, bells). That's the reason why he sleeps in a tub of water, to keep out the loud noises while sleeping. And that's when Elektra (Jennifer Garner) comes in, who might be one of the beautiful on Earth. I mean the actress of course. And originaly in the comics, Kingpin was Causasian, not African American. But I like this one better, because it makes a lot more sense to me, than a fat nerd trying to corrupt the system and law. Colin Farrell was amazing at this role, just the psychoticness(word?) of his portrayer as Bullseye was exactly like it was in the comics. And I think they should've waited to put Elektra in a sequel or something. A little cameo in this movie would do nice. I don't know, I just think it was too early for her to be involve in Daredevil's life at this point. This movie was too rushed, and so many flaws I can't point out. Jon Favreau as Foggy Nelson was excellent and funny. He did really well as the character. And Michael Clarke Duncan, best choice as the role of the Kingpin. As for Ben Affleck...eh...couldn't they gotten someone else? Okay, he's sort of good...but his acting is poor. I'm sorry, he just didn't suit the role of Daredevil or Matt Murdock for that matter. Jennifer Garner, as beautiful she may be, but wasn't really Elektra. I don't know, I see her just playing another role, like this one doesn't even matter to her. But some parts of the movie with her in it were okay. I still hate the fight scene between her and Ben Affleck in the playgrounds. Really stupid. "Hey Matt, way to go to show that you're actually not blind at all!" Ridiculous. And comes Joe Pantoliano as Ben Urich. What a great actor, and what a great role for him to be in.

All in all, this movie was "good". It will never match up to the greatness of the more successful movies like Spider-Man or Batman Begins. But I hope there's a sequel for this movie, though without Affleck. I can see the movie just fine without him. Get someone new, someone fresh, y'know? This movie would've done better if it had the right direction and story. Unlike Johnson's other work, like "Ghost Rider" (Agh, just saying that makes me want to barf), this movie deserves a sequel than that one. I want to see where the story goes, and if it's good, I hope it continues onward to a successful series. And if Mark is redeemed of not making stupid movies like "Ghost Rider" (Eh, it could've been better, without him as the director though) he can come back to direct a Daredevil sequel, if he wants.
