What can I say? This was such a good movie. It has to be one of my favorite comic book movies, but certainly my second favorite. I know this movie by heart, and it just made me get into the Spider-Mania. I can't believe how many fans are out there, supporting these movies (Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3), and how much they love them. These movies are what we, the fans, wanted in a movie of Spider-Man. A lot say that Spider-Man 2 was the greatest, but like always the first ones remains strong in my opinion. I see Daredevil (2003) and The Hulk (2003) trying to copy the same concept. In which they can't. 'Cause no one can beat what this movie has and completed with, and that is called good movie plot, good cast and crew, and the greatest superhero that we know to date.

I definitely enjoyed seeing this movie. Although Tusserte is right (in the sense that the movie does revolve around Spider-Man getting his powers), it is not necessarily a bad thing. The Green Goblin was a good original bad guy, because of the way he is related to Peter Parker. The film is worth watching.

The movie is interesting because of the action, which there isn't much of anyways. I feel that the plot was based mostly around Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire), aka Peter Parker, getting his powers and then fighting the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), aka Norman Osbourn. Since the movies wasn't very good, I feel that the Green Goblin villain was wasted (because he gets killed off in a mediocre movie). This movie isn't too bad for kids to watch; it's only a bit of violence.
