Del Toro, I got to hand it to you, you know how to make a good movie with a lot of good effects and action sequences. This one is my favorite out of the series. Not only the action scenes were awesome, but the plot was very interesting as well. I have to give Goyer credit too, for writing one of the best sequels, in my opinion, to ever been made. It's 3rd to my Favorite Sequels List (The Dark Knight at first, and Spider-Man 2 at second). The actors were great, although some of them I never seen or heard of before, except for Ron Perlman (From the Hellboy series). If anyone had the most convincing role in this movie, it had to be Ron Perlman and also Wesley Snipes (Blade). Luke Goss (Prince Nuada From Hellboy 2), one of my favorite actors, who plays the primary villain known as Nomak (originally was going to be Morbius, a previous Spider-Man villain but was later a Blade villain in the comics, but wasn't allowed to be in this movie because Marvel wanted to make a movie about him, which haven't happened yet). Motivation of Nomak, is similar to Prince Nuada's motivation in Hellboy II (The whole I want to wreck havoc on humankind). Though a lot different, of course, whereas Nomak is unlike any other vampire. Basically he's super-vampire, created by his father. The super-vampires is known as the reapers in this story. And Blade is the only one who can stop them before the world is consumed by them. Really great plot, and a good follow-up to the first movie. Nicely done. I give this one a two-thumbs way up!

The only good things you're going to get out of this are action and special effects. I guess you can call this a rush, and I did like it. In this sequel to the amazing vampire slayer series, Blade (Wesley Snipes) returns to fight evil with silver and garlic, and is more powerful than ever. First, we find that the old Abraham Whistler (Kris Kristofferson), who was thought to be killed by Deacon Frost in the first Blade (R, 1998), turned into a vampire, allowing him to survive the attack. After being saved by Blade and turned back, Whistler is surprised to find a new addition to the team, the young mechanic Scud (Norman Reedus). As you can probably tell, they won't have fun getting along (rivals never do). Blade and co. are confronted by a vampire assassin squad, designed to kill Blade, but redirected to a different task. A new strain of vampires has broken out, one that feeds on vampires as well, and it's up to Blade to stop them. It won't be easy; these new beasts are stronger than regular vampires, and are nearly invincible (light being the only exception). Blade will have to take command of the squad (including Leonor Varela, Danny John Jules, Ron Perlman, Tony Curran, Luke Goss, Thomas Kretschmann, Matt Schulze, and Donnie Yen) in order to do what he does best (save the day). Throw in a twist or two, some jokes/irony, and there you have it! A whole lot of action, violence, and swearing! Whoopee....
