The Lord of the Rings trilogy was, and is, one of the best movies I have ever seen. It's detailed and clear cinema-photography and perfect acting, and the closeness to the books, has made this one of the most popular movies in the history of film making. This movie was a great start to the sequels. The GC was the most impressive. Everything looked real and perfect, like all the creatures were really there. Peter Jackson outdid himself on this movie.

This was a great film. Peter Jackson did a great job of directing the movie almost identically to the classic book by J. R. R. Tolkien. The acting was superb, and I liked all of the battle scenes, especially the one at the end. The two hobbits, Merry and Pippin, were funny and worked well together. It was suspenseful at times when the Ring Wraiths were present. Anyone who has read the book has to see the film, and those who haven't read the book should watch it anyways.

This film is very close to matching the book perfectly. That is why this movie is for more hard-core fans. There aren't many battle scenes to interest other people, however. This movie involves mostly dialogue and plot development for the other films. I like the character development. The movie has great acting and great special effects. The entire series is for older kids or adults, however.
