It might not be the best Batman movie out there, but it is coolest looking one. Jim Carrey as The Riddler brings out a blown out performance, along with Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face (they could've done better with the character in this movie, and Val Kilmer replacing the role of Batman. Chris O'Donnell as Batman's side-kick Robin, and Nicole Kidman as Batman's love interest Dr. Chase Meridian. The plot is a bit corny, and the tone was campy. Though Val did a great job as both Batman and Bruce Wayne for this movie. Heck, I like watching this movie because of him. He just looked right for the role. And Jim Carrey, one of my favorite actors, was an okay Riddler. At first I liked it, but then it just reminded me too much of his other roles. Riddler was never like that, but I have to admit he was pretty good, but not scary or threating. Two-Face...he was such a wasted character in this movie. How dare they do that to him? He's one of the best Batman villains in the comics, and here he is trying to beat his way to the top (Sorry, Joker beat you there, buddy). He's not Two-Face, and he didn't act like Two-Face for the most part too. Chris O'Donnell did a perfect performance of Robin, and Nicole Kidman was just great too. (Wipe that smirk of your face, Batty! You make yourself look like fool.) Anyways, this is a good movie. Like I said, it wasn't the best, but you will enjoy it. The soundtrack is also good to listen during the end credits too.
