This was an amazingly well done stop-motion clay animation short for its time! I thought that the plot line was very clever and the characters, although few, were very well developed. The movie begins when the slow, cheese-loving Wallace and his faithful dog, Gromit realize that they're out of cheese. Since 'everybody knows the moon's made of cheese', they decide to take a wild adventure on a rocket that they actually build. When they get to the moon, they meet a strange little robot (that oddly looks like a refrigerator with wheels) that tries to bring their great time crashing down. Watch this movie to see how it all turns out. It's worth your money, and it's a great family movie, except for a little intended violence that might scare very little kids.
