Although very enjoyable and thrilling, this movie failed to leave its mark, and I felt that it might be deemed 'generic'. I did enjoy the performances thurally, especially on the parts of Tommy Lee Jones and Joe Pantoliano, the main comedy reliefs, as well as main round characters. This movie drew me in with the action, no matter how typical and 'predictable'. Dr. Richard Kimble's wife, Helen (Sela Ward), has just been murdered by a man with a prosthetic arm (Andreas Katsulas), and for some reason, Richard has been framed. Because all evidence points to Richard as the murderer, he is sent to prison. Impulsively, he and a group of other inmates crash their transport bus and escape. However, Richard is the only one who survives/gets away, and becomes a fugitive of the police and militia. Because Richard has lost the love of his life, getting away isn't exactly his top priority. As the movie progresses, Richard must narrowly dodge the law and at the same time hunt down his killer; a two-way thriller! Tommy Lee Jones and Joe Pantoliano come in as officials working to hunt Richard down and clear up the case. Well, as I said, the main complaint is concerning the originality, and that's really about it. Keep this away from the young people because of swearing and violence. When it comes to movies like this, rent before buying.
