A tremendously humorous film, Ghostbusters would be watched by my family three or four times a year. Because we owned the movie, we could pull out some thrill and humor to watch whenever we wanted. The movie has enough 'kid' humor for kids to love, and just enough adult humor for parents. Personally, my favorite part is when all three Ghostbusters are in a library, on duty looking for a ghost, and one of them says "Listen, do you smell something?". I really didn't get that phrase until I was about 5 years old, when my parents finally explained it to me. (I started watching it when I was about 3 years old, when Mom and Dad just got it.)

To wrap this review up, I think that 'Ghostbusters' is a family movie designed for all ages, that anyone can like. (I still haven't seen the 2nd Ghostbusters, but I'm sure it'll be a great one.)

Let's just say I bought this without even watching it in the first place to begin with. I just wanted to see it, and it was the Ghostbusters 1&2 Gift Set. It's a really cool set too, comes with a notebook of how the movie got started and the concept designs for the logo, it's pretty neat. So anyways, back to the review of this movie.

So it starts out with 3 college professors; Dr. Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Dr. Raymond Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), and Dr. Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis). They were fired one day, and decided to form an organization. So they came up with the idea of hunting ghosts, and alas became the Ghostbusters. And they come to save the world.

Really good movie, and funny too. The characters are very well developed and explored in this film. Along with Ernie Hudson as Ghostbuster member Winston Zeddemore, Sigourney Weaver as Venkman's love interest Dana Barrett, Annie Potts as Ghostbusters headquarters secretary Janine Melnitz, and Rick Moranis as the clumsy Louis Tully. When Dana Barrett finds out that her apartment is hunted by Gozer, she calls none other then the Ghostbusters to help her out.

Overall, great movie and must see for comedy lovers and adventure lovers too. Go see it now!
