Well, it's James Bond. Pretty obvious standards here, and I feel that Goldfinger lived up to them. Let's just say that this is as entertaining as any other classic James Bond film. I can't say that I'm particularly in love with it, because, well, the score speaks for itself. With subtle, raunchy humor that is discreet enough for kids to watch, Sean Connery pulls off his manly spy stuff yet again. In this episode, James Bond (Sean Connery) is working to stop a money-obsessed gold smuggler named Auric Goldfinger (Gert Fröbe). While investigating this shady character, he unveils a dastardly plot to attack Fort Knox. In order to save the day, 007 will have to go through Goldfinger's silent bodyguard, Oddjob (Harold Sakata) and Goldfinger's personal pilot, Pussy Galore (Honor Blackman). Trust me; it's not going to be easy for Bond, especially when women are involved! Expect gadgets, sensuality, and changes of heart! So, as always, this film will definitely be entertaining and is worth your time. I guess it's up to on whether or not you should buy/rent this, though (assuming you don't already have it!)
