35 Game Reviews
So, obviously, the whole "not 10/10" thing is going to surprise &emdash; probably even upset &emdash; people considering that, yes, I do think Halo is the better. First off: Bioshock is undoubtedly an amazing game. The graphics are stellar, the plot is great, the action is enjoyable, and it has a real world experience to it. Now, here comes the semi-bad news. The whole controversy of the Little Sisters (essentially little girls that have been corrupted by "magic" in a sense) didn't appeal to me as much as I thought it would, and it wasn't as controversial as I thought it was to me. The whole point was: are you willing to sacrifice humanity for power? Or, are you selfish or evil enough to take the easy way out, even if it means killing a little girl? At least I think it was something along those lines. Unfortunately, no matter what, you still get the goodies, at relatively equal amounts, and playing through the game both times (once as an evil person, then again as a good person), I found that the choice between harvesting (killing) or saving the Little Sisters wasn't as important or interesting as I thought it would be. At least, those are my rusty, 1913 two cents. Anyway, about the game itself. Bioshock tells the story about a young man (you) involved in a plane crash. He survives, and discovers an underwater world called Rapture. Unfortunately, Rapture isn't the Utopia it wasn't supposed to be. It's dominated by genetically-mutated crazies (who incidentally make scary and fun enemies) called Splicers. You're job upon arrival is to work for the mysterious man Atlas, and help with numerous tasks (ones that I won't mention as to not ruin the story, which is in fact a very good and well written story.) Touching upon genetics again, Bioshock isn't just any shooter. No, it's a shooter with Plasmids (magic, in a sense.) These Plasmids are genetic mutations that allow you to shoot lightning, set stuff of fire, lift objects with your mind, and set more stuff on fire. Combined with an array of different weapons and several Plasmids, your strategies are infinite (or, at least, a lot more than many other shooters.) So if you like a good shooter, Bioshock should be a fun game. If you like a shooter with a plot, Bioshock will be a great game for you. If you don't play video games, you shouldn't be reading this review in the first place.

Have you notice anything that seems familiar? Biashock has alot of eastereggs that refur to the FallOut games. You dont even have to look that hard and you seem alot. Why is FallOut stuff in BioShock? 2K is pretty much the Big Daddy of Bethesda Games
