Wow, I admit I wasn't surprised, but I was definitely amazed by the gameplay...or just about anything with this game! It was great, it was awesome, and I actually felt like Batman for the first time! The combat system was fantastic. It's not too complicated, it's just plain simple. And the stealth mode is also great too. Those elements in the game is what makes Batman fun to play as. The gadgets are also cool things to toy with in certain missions and areas to get around. I also like how scared/paranoid some of the thugs can get when I start taking them down one by one, without any one of them knowing where I am at. Those parts really creates a good reality to it, and much more enjoyable fun for the gameplayers. This is the definitive 'Batman' game that every fan of the movies or the comics, or I guess in general will enjoy. The challenge mode missions are really fun too. What I really like about this is the plot, written by Paul Dini from the 1990's Batman animated series. Along with Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy from that series, who return to provide the voices for The Joker and Batman again. This is such a great team of talented people to work on this game, and not just the people behind the voices and the writing, but the people who made this game possible. That's right: Rocksteady. They did such an amazing job bringing the dark caped crusader to life with this. It was such a great choice to buy this game instead of renting it, because it's a game you would want to keep forever and ever. Heck this game is way much better than the Spider-Man games (Yeah, you heard me right. Coming from the mouth of a fellow Spidey fan. Sad isn't it?).

Over all, I love this game. The thing that stands out a lot for me is definitely the gameplay and the voice talent. Mark Hamill, like always, nails the Joker 100%. And Kevin Conroy IS BATMAN (I know a lot of you would say Christian Bale is the one and only Batman, but he could've done a lot better in "The Dark Knight". C'mon, someone has to agree with me, right?).

I know I had a lot to say about this game, but who wouldn't? It's that awesome!! I totally, with no doubt, recommend this game to any comic book fan, video game player, or any one who is just a hardcore Batman fan. You'll not regret playing this game!

One thing more I would like to add, the characters are so well developed and they're so true to their comic source. Scarecrow was creepy, Killer Croc was creepier, and The Joker was downright awesome, nasty, and creepy put together! And let's not forget, the Dark Knight himself, Batman who was animated and voiced so convincingly throughout.

Man, that was such a mouthful. But hey, this game deserves a good review, right? One thing I would like to mention...sometimes the ending of this game (after the credits) changes...did anyone notice that? Well I think it changes, but oh well I am not too worry about that. Again, I really love the plot, the crew, and everything else that made this game possible and those who made it so unbelievably fun (You have no idea, until you try out the game). So what else can I say? Heh, I don't want to give out too much, or should I? Nah, just try out this game. Don't rent it, just buy it. It is just totally worth your money. Why? Well you do like having fun playing video games, right? Well there you go! Have fun and I hope you like it just as much as I do!

P.S. I can't wait for the sequel!!
