Although Most of the other critics have so far said that wii ply isn't worth your money and that it is bad, I honestly disagree. Wii Play is, like wii sports, a compilation of mini games to show diffrent ways you can use the wiimote.

Like in wii sports, the game get you to create a mii and play using it. there are  a total of 9 mini games, most of which require you to point the 'mote at the screen and wave it about.

There is:
.Shooting
.Finding miis
.Table Tennis
.Posing miis
.Lazer Hockey
.Fishing
.Billiards
.Cow race
.Tanks

Let's go through each one...
Shooting, as you can expect is a shooting game. You point you remote at thetv (or sensor bar rather) and aim your cross-hairs at a range of different targets ranging from balloons to aliens. This is probably the best mini game on the disc, but it seems that all of the objects you need to shoot is from point blank. But that isn't really a concern.

The 'Find mii' game is similar to that of a 'Where's Waldo' book. The game asks you to find a certain mii. Fo example, find the mii you're using, or find two of the same miis.you simply point to the miis and click. this is  fun a first but after a few rounds grows a bit boring and gets quite hard.

Table Tennis, you'd expect would be a copy of wii sport tennis, but no, it's a slight variation. Instead of shaking the remote to hit,and letting the compter move your player, you have to move th racket lft and right so that it stops the ball going past you, a bit similar to pong. this is also a pretty fun game.

Pose mii is where you move your mii around and change into different possitions to pop fallng bubbles. If a bubble gets past you into the electric wire, you lose.
Each bubble has a silouette of a mii on it in a certain positions, such as standing upright, starjump, alancing on one leg and so on. You change thepositins of your mii by pressing the A and B buttons and dirct the wii by aiming and twisting you remote.I find this enjoyable and addictive although my family don't see why.

Laser Hockey is basically pong, but graphically revamped. using to the wii-mote to guide your paddle is actually surprising fun! This is probably the second best game. Although it is simple and it is basically just pong, it is still really good.

Fishing is  a game where you place you rod into a small pond, by aiming the mote and await for the fish in the pond to bite on. when they bite, you'll hear a noise in the wii-mote speaker and feel a rumble. You'll also see the fish with the rod in its mouth, swimming about. When thi happens jerk the remot upwards to pull the fish out of the water. There are different types of fish, some good and some bad.
This is good with friends where you can fish it ove fo the most points

Billiards is what you'd expect. aim the mote at the white ball, pull back as you would with a cue and then wrench it forward to hit. This is a resonably good game but can grow tiresome after a while.

'Charge!' is a racing/collecting game, where your mii is on top of a knitted cow, and you need to knock down as many scarecrows as you can, whilst avoiding the obstacles. This has a somewhat similar control scheme to mario kart, as you hold the remoe on its side and tilt to turn. Also to jump, you jerk the remote upwards. tThis, like many of the games is best played with a friend.

'Tanks!' is the final game on the disc. You see and overhead view of a small course. in the course is your tanks(and a second player's if they are doing it too), and an enemy or multiple enemies. Using the dpad(or the nunchuck ulternatively) you move your tank, A lets ou a mine, and B shoots. The object is to destroy the enemy tanks. Once you defeat thm all, you move up to the next level.
This is pretty fun an can get quite addictive.

Overal this game is worth having, as it also comes with an extra wiimote, s when you calculate it out, the game is only 10 dollars. If you want another remote, and a game that has some good mini games, look no further!

Wii Play is an abomination to the history of video games.
There is a "Where's Waldo" type game, cow racing, air hockey, a "Pong" type game, as well as some others. It can be played two players, using the Mii on your Wii.
The only thing I use it for is babysitting...(at least little tykes like it)
The only good thing about the game is is shooting game and that it comes with another controller...

Here is the disappointing sequel to Wii Sports (E). I guess the designers ran out of interesting things to make mini-games of.

This time, the available games aren't really sports, but strange little activities that get old pretty quickly.

Also, every game is only available for up to two players.

Luckily, a little bonus is that you get to keep your 'Mii's in this game.

In my favorite activity, you aim the controller at the screen and press the trigger to fire your gun at the targets, ducks, discs, and UFOs that appear.

Another interesting game is a sort of laser hockey where you control a neon pong-style paddle. You move the paddle to where you're aiming (it's a pretty simple game), and if you rotate the paddle, the back side has a pincer that will stop the puck for you (so it's easier to aim). The first to eight wins no matter what, so close games are very anti-climatic.

In another mini-game &emdash; the only one that requires the nunchuck attachment &emdash; you control a little tank that shoots shells that can bounce once off walls. Your purpose is to destroy all the enemy tanks to clear the level; starting with only one easy enemy, and getting increasingly harder. In multiplayer, both players can control tanks and are competing to kill more than the other. What's annoying about this is that the players (who are supposed to be working together) are able to kill each other, and generally start levels off next to each other. Naturally, a smart, tactic would be to kill your partner so you can go and kill all the AI tanks for yourself. As smart as that can be, it's very annoying for the guy who has to spend the whole time sitting and waiting for the level to be over.

Another problem with this game is that there is very little randomization in these levels, and that the only difference you will ever find is that the player one and two start locations might switch off every once in a while.

Yet another mediocre mini-game is very simple pond fishing. You simply control your fishing rod by holding your controller out and waving it around. There's no bait; all you have to do is dangle your hook in front of the 2D fish and wait for it to grab on. Then, if the fish is the kind you're looking for (and not the small kind that will subtract points), you yank the controller back, and there you have it!

In ping-pong, you're actually trying to rally with the computer for as long as possible... which gets really boring after a while. In the multiplayer mode, you're playing first to eleven (and you don't have to win by two points, which, again, is way too short). You can't really put much spin on the ping-pong ball, and you are automatically penalized for not letting the ball bounce on your side (this is for every point, not just the return). The paddle is centered at where you're aiming the controller. What's really frustrating is that the other player gets a point if you miss your serve while trying to put spin on it.

Now for the big one you've been waiting for: pool. Blech! I can't stand this game. The designers completely messed up what could've been a fun mini-game. In this totally messed up version of pool, you are given a target (8-ball included) which you have to hit into a pocket. If you hit any other ball first, you get a penalty. To aim, choose rotate the path line of the ball (you can only hit it in a straight line). Then, you must select what part of the ball you want to hit; the center if you're going for power, the top if you want it to slide an inch. Finally, pull the controller back and thrust it forward. The physics in this game are really fake, unlike that of bowling or tennis in Wii Sports.

A strange mini-game in this set includes a 'find this person' game, where you have to find the person who doesn't fit in, or find a pair of twins, in a crowd of people in a time limit.

Yet another terrible mini-game is this strange posing game where you switch your Mii's pose by pressing buttons. Then, you have to line him up so that he fits into bubbles that are floating by. These bubbles each have a specific pose in a rotated form that you will have to line up with (by turning your wrist and aiming your Mii at the bubble's slot) in order to pop it. You lose when the bubbles reach the bottom.

Well, this game would be much better if it didn't cost so much... maybe they should make it come free with the Wii too. No matter what, Wii Play isn't worth your money, so get it for free or don't get it at all.
