This game is a free online Multiplayer First Person Shooter game. It's fun and the graphics are great, but not jaw dropping. There is no single player mode at all, and is a very easy game to grasp. There is a tutorial mode for new people which is a cinch to complete. The item store allows you to buy weapons and clothing for your soldier (which you can choose with you play) and even upgrades for an X amount of days. There are always tons of server, or you can make your own.

There are four kinds of game play modes. One is the original Team Death Match. Another is Ghost Mode, where the opposing team, Black List (more on this later) is cloaked and the main team, Global Risk, is not cloaked. Black List members can only use the knife and you can faintly see them. If they gang up they are very hard to kill. The Global Risk members can use any weapons they have on them. Yet another game play is Search and Destroy; the point is to kill all other members or carry out an objective. You can also play elimination where the goal is to kill the other team, but it is set up in rounds. Once you die you have to wait for one team to win before you can join again.

The graphics and animation is really good. Blood is turned off by default so people who don't like that stuff don't have to see it, at all. Sometimes the running animation is to slow for the speed the character is moving, and there is not a separate animation for walking left/right, but it is no big deal.

Cross Fire is definitely a great game considering it's free.
