The game has the same storyline, guns, characters, and multiplayer functionalities as its counterparts(except for ds of course.)
Personally I think controlling a shooter on a mouse is much easier than with analogs, so I have no complaint with controls. In-game you won't find to much enhancements from COD4, it is very similar in every aspect of graphics and animations. The one thing that made me rate graphics to a 9/10 is because of the gore added to the gameplay, unlike having your enemy fall down with red dots over them, you can literally blow your enemies legs off in this game! I think it is a great way to add realism and truth of what war was like.
It is still fun, only drawback for me is the plot but I will get to that later. Multiplayer is especially fun on pc because you don't pay to play online(other than online fees) The new perks for tanks is sweet, and so are the new "skills" like calling in the dogs.
Now onto the plot...I think the plot lacks soo much compared to other Call of Duty's. In most CODs you will start out in training, familiarizing with the whole atmosphere, but not in this game, they send you straight into a mission, which is okay I guess, but heres another drawback I see. Lack of character development, while Roebuck is babbling on about the story I really don't even feel "veteranish." There is barely any connection I felt with the characters in waw compared to cod4.
last but not least....no captain Price, lol, but overall I give it a a 8/10 Still fun, but nothing new.
