There are a lot of free games coming out lately, and the second most popular is First Person Shooters. I've posted reviews for CrossFire, which is the most popular (been out longer), and now I'm making a review for A.V.A. which is amazing. The graphics match up with CoD, and the game play is really fantastic. Why get CoD when you can get AVA? They are pretty much the same thing!
The game is brand new, opening to open beta October, but already it's flocking with players. I'd play it more, but the kick vote system seems to be abused which is why I'm not rating the "Fun" 10. But don't let that let you down, this game is really great!
The only thing I don't really like to much is the animation and hands model, which none of seem as good as Crossfire (which seems to have the best hands then any other game). The guns also look a little plasticy, but they are minor issues and don't effect my review.
The maps are gigantic! The map Rusing Dust is slewing with detail, and since it's a night time map, it makes for all the more interesting game play. Hide in dark corners, snipe from dark roof tops, shoot though glass floors, hide in rubble and begin burning cars, it's really a great map. They don't have many maps right now, but they are all massive and full of detail.
Gameplay is really exciting. My favorite mode is Escort, where one team has to protect the tank, repairing it when it gets damaged, and the other team has to keep the tank back from the finish line for a certian amount of time. They use RPG rocket lauchers to destroy the tank. There is also TDM and Demolition (blow up site 1 or 2).
If you like free games, give this a go. It's a perfect game really, and it does not have any graphic violence.
