When I played this game I was pretty young, and not the brightest guy (but things have changed) So, while playing, the action was fun, but the plot was confusing. Also, they had a time limit for the ENTIRE game, so that made me miserable and the game became impossible. Although it looked childish, it was too challenging.

When I used to play this game (when it first came out), it was very hard for me. I tried over and over again to beat it, but I kept failing. I must admit it was a fun game, but it was too hard for me. This review is based on my original experiences and I feel that this game isn't for really little kids. If I can remember, this game is about a pilot who crashes his rocket ship on a strange planet and has to find all the scattered parts of his rocket ship before the time runs out (the time is measured by days and you have to find one or a few parts a day). You play as the astronaut, Captain Olimar, and control 'Pikmin', these little creatures that you can grow with seeds. The Pikmin are cool because you can have them move things, blow up obstacles, and fight other creatures. There are... 3?...different types of Pikmin that are good at doing different tasks.

I believe that this game is genius. It may take a high intellectual level to understand and conquer the game but it is a great game.
