This game was fairly o.k.. I just disliked the fact that you HAD to play every single day. no joke. I would reccomend this game for people who CAN play every day but stick to harvest moon.

This game is great!
In this game, you are in a village along with animal villagers. Four players can "move in" to your village (and they could be all you).
Villagers are random, and they can move in and out. If you don't log in for a long time, villagers may move away.
This game progresses on real time, so if you're away a lot, you're going to have cockroaches in your house, weeds everywhere.
Holidays come and go like in the real world, and you also get money on your birthday!
This game is a great life-simulator, so if you like that kind of game, you'll love this one.
In my opinion, this game gets boring if you play it a lot. Tasks in this game are VERY repetitive. However, I still play it from time to time, years after I got the game.
This game is fun. Reasons for the score I gave it: the crazy music you get is plentiful and fun to hear, you can travel to your friends' places, you have a stock type, turn-up based market, the shirt design feature, oh yeah, the secret island you can access, and all the furniture types. Drawbacks: it is a pet peeve of mine to have neighbors move out when you are gone for a week. Also, people get angry after you talk to them for too long.
Well, the game is fun for a couple weeks, then it drops off after that; although as everyone else has said, it is addicting. Dialogue gets very repetitive, and the graphics aren't especially great.
I have to agree with Tusserte on this one. The game is excellent for a few weeks, but then gets incredibly repetitive and lame. The problem, though, is that even though it's bad, you feel the urge to continue playing for months.
It's not especially great. Ok graphics and lots of details and options. I got bored of this game really fast, but I kept playing because I was addicted. Anyone who plays this game will be addicted. I became obsessed with upgrading my house, buying new stuff, and filling up the museum collection (of bugs, fish, and fossils I collected). This game is all about creating a life for your little person, who you name, dress, and accessorize. You get to build up his/her house and make it as big as you can afford, and provide it with cool furniture. There are practically endless possibilities when it comes to your choosing your style; it is impossible to have everything! There are other townspeople who live in the map who you can talk to, and they move in and out of the area frequently, so there are always new faces. This game is 'cute' because all of the characters are animals (like raccoons, rabbits, foxes, etc.) Another cool feature about this game is that there are different species of fish and bugs that you can catch and add to the town's museum collection. I like to add all sorts of things to the exhibits and then wander aimlessly through the habitats.
Animal Crossing is a great game to play. The AI in the game is so amazing that they remember every day (even if the Gamecube isn't on); and there is so much to buy! Now, the down side is that this is a Sims-type game except you can't have a wife, you can't create your own house, and you can't get married.
