Call of Duty: World at War is the next installment in the COD series on the DS. It's set in WWII, so of course it's gonna be different to COD4, but is it worth buying, or should you just stick to COD4?

The first thing you'll notice is that it isn't in a futuristic setting, it's set in WWII. At least the name of the game tells you this, so you know what you're getting into. Many people like the Modern setting more, but I personally don't mind, now there's more Rifles for me to noob the pwns with! (The Garand is epic!)

Call of Duty: World at War boasts LOADS of gameplay modes, there's so much to do in the game, it'll keep you interested for a long time. There's FPS levels, Tank levels, Mortar parts, Machine Gun parts, Plane levels, Anti-Air Boat levels, and there's a few more. A few of them were hard as hell, like the Anti-Air Boat parts, and the Tank levels, but they were all really fun and interesting.

Altogether there's 26 levels in the Campaign, and they usually take 3 or 4 tries each to beat the levels, for me at least. So that's around... a 5-6 hour campaign? But then you have Multiplayer, and all the other modes to mess around with, so that'll keep you entertained for plenty more hours.

There's so many other things you can do in the game, other than the Campaign mode. There's Collectables that you, well.... collect. You need 32, but so far I've only collected 16, so I'm lame. There's also a Challenge mode with 30 different Challenges to complete, and even the first Level was hard for me, so that'll take me a while to finish. This game packs in so much stuff, it's oozing epicness.

Online. THERE'S ONLINE! Online is the best feature about FPS's, and now that COD: WaW has it, it makes this game stand out among the pack of FPS's on the DS. 4 people can play simultaneously, either in a Team Deathmatch or a Deathmatch (those are the 2 modes I've seen anyway). There's 11 maps to play with, though almost everybody chooses the Field stage. The service itself, is absolutely great, and I'm glad it was included. The only thing wrong with it, is the idiots that play it. Almost everybody on there has the words 'Gangsta', 'Pro', '1337', or 'Killa' in their names, and they all suck HARD at the game. Another lame tactic that people use is the trick where they take a Rocket Launcher, and wait in a corner, probably crying, telling themselves that they're good, and then blow us the hell up when we walk past. EPIC FAIL RANDOM GUY.

This game isn't COD4 gameplay in a WWII setting, it's much, much deeper than that. There's loads of new content, a longer storyline, updated graphics, more types of gameplay, and an online mode.

BUY OR NOT TO BUY: A must-buy for anybody who loves FPS, COD, Multiplayer, or just fun games.

It more like rated M for DS. I would say 15 for age.
